Terms of Use
These terms explain the basis on which you may use KBudget. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
KBudget is an information and budgeting tool, not financial advice. Its summaries depend on the statement data and classifications provided by you.
1. The service
KBudget lets you import bank-statement files, organise transactions, create classification rules and review personal spending information. Automated bank feeds are not currently provided.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
3. Your data
You retain ownership of the information you upload. You give KBudget permission to store and process that information only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service. Our Privacy Statement explains this in more detail.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for checking imported transactions, transfer matches, classifications, calculations and exports before relying on them. You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or upload unlawful content.
5. No financial advice
KBudget does not provide financial, tax, credit, accounting or legal advice. Charts, trends and automated commentary are descriptive only. Consider obtaining professional advice before making important financial decisions.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Features may change as KBudget develops. Material changes to these terms will be communicated by updating this page and its effective date.
7. Backups and deletion
You can export transactions and download a complete workspace backup. You can also permanently delete your KBudget data. You should keep your own backup before deleting information or closing access.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by Australian law, KBudget is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from unavailable, incomplete or incorrectly classified data. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.
9. Ending use
You may stop using KBudget and delete your data at any time. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or comply with law.
